Contemporary full tan calf, sides ruled in gilt, gilt race horses blocked to upper cover, a jockey to the rear, rebacked in calf retaining most of the original backstrip blocked in gilt with jockey's caps; corners rubbed. Internally lacking free endpapers, some foxing and browning. Bound without the half-title.
